“Cherry Blossoms Floating in Pink”

I had just restocked my favorite pink paint and wanted to create a piece that had abstract elements using it and several other new colors that I had gotten. What emerged was a gorgeous background that wasn’t easy to place, but the colorscape reminded me of a painting that I had done years ago and destroyed because of depression. So I recreated some of the elements of that painting – a cherry blossom tree with petals that are flying away.
