“Coconuts kill 150 people each year”
Acrylic on Canvas – November 2015
Coconuts can and have indeed killed people, but a majority of actual deaths by coconut are from angry enslaved monkeys that are forced to pick coconuts everyday, all day throwing or kicking the coconuts down and hitting their masters in the head.
Every time I turn on the news I see biased, slated information (sometimes completely falsified) and fear mongering. Rather than seeing the problems around the world as hate we blame it on guns, religion, gender, and race. The reality is, no person that is full of love would go into a building and start shooting people. And if we want a better future where was does not exist we need to stop “othering” people and realize that we’re all a part of humanity and everyone deserves food, clothing, shelter, clean water, access to healthcare and love.
Coconuts do kill people, but they’re also quite spectacular.. they’re tasty, hydrating and super healthy! So if a coconut does kill someone, whose fault is it?
