We never realized until recently how fascinating some of the regular aspects of life in Korea could be for others. Take how people move in and out of their homes here. Where we are from, we call a moving van (usually), put everything in it and drive it to another location. They have moving vans here too, but there’s often an extra step involved: the outside elevator crane. The one in this video is a tiny one, but they have ones that literally will hoist big couches and other items up 20 plus floors. It’s incredible.

The daily vlogs have received a warm response so far so we will continue them. Thanks for watching our vids and supporting us. :)

So, you guys are having one way conversations with all your subscribers. SO COOL!!!

Ok…the river was beauti…well it was pretty to walk by just a few weeks ago. I just want to jump through the screen, tap a construction guy on the shoulder and ask, “Watcha doin?”, but you know…in Korean.

Now I have a question. I saw you go into GS25, which I’m assuming is like a 7-11 or a Wawa. My question is are there 24 hour places like Wawa/7-11 around where you are?

Good food smells trump new lifeless creatures every time!

You keep posting, I’ll keep watching!

So much around here is 24 hours. This place is as much nocturnal as it is up during the day. Do you ever think you’ll visit here?

When I was 15 I said I was going to MOVE to Japan by the time I was 25. When I was 25 Japan was still the destination, but 30 was the age. At 30 I’d said I’ll at least VISIT Korea by the time I’m 40. I’ve got 4 years to go and I’m saving every penny I don’t have so I can have a memorable time. So, my intention is to walk along the Han and shop in Shibuya before I say so long to God’s green and grassy. Only two things are holding me back as of right now. Money…which I’m working on slowly, and fear…I’ve never been away from Delaware for more than a week in my entire 36 years. But, I’ll get there…remember ChiMek is on you when/if I get there! LOL!
