I can’t believe we actually managed to make this video today. In case you haven’t heard, I’ve been battling a kidney stone this week. So, needless to say, filming is not at the top of my priority list. I did, however, want to try and get this video out to you guyz on Friday since you voted and it’s actually one of my favorites to make every year.. the two years we’ve been doing it now.

This year more than ever I was thankful who would be in the Top 10. Gotta admit, there were definitely some surprises on this list. Like the fact that Naildo made it into the Top 10! (see below). This just goes to prove that it’s a cult classic. While it’s never been the most popular Asian drama, those who like it are quite the dedicated fan base.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see Empress Ki on the list. It was one of my favorite dramas for the first half of 2014 for the storyline, the action, the colorful sets and scenery, the great costuming, and who am I kidding: Ha Ji Won. She made not have made it into the Top 5 Best Actresses video this year (she missed the number 5 slot by 1 vote!) but she’s one of my all time favorites.

There were plenty of dramas that I liked that didn’t make the list, and even a couple that I left off the list for voting that should have been included. But all that aside, there was no fighting the number 1 and 2 spots for this year’s best Korean drama. The only fight was which was first, and which was second. I think It’s Okay That’s Love could have definitely been first place if it had the same amount of marketing, promotion and hype as You Who Came From The Stars. Not that I’m complaining. Kim Soo Hyun is a total cuty-pie!
