Gong Hyo Jin is without a doubt my favorite Korean actress right now. I’ve been a fan of her work for a long time, but it was only in the last couple of years (since 2013’s Master’s Sun that is) that I’ve gone from being a fan to deciding that she’s my favorite Korean actress. Ha Ji Won follows her for those of you who were wondering as my second favorite actress.

Anyways, I’ve made a lot of these top 5’s featuring my favorite and/or popular male actors for HallyuBack, but I don’t believe I’ve ever made a top 5 for an actress. And so, with Producers coming out next month I figured, what better time to cheer my favorite actress on and get others hyped up than to dedicate a whole video to her!

Seriously, I know that there will be a lot of people who tune into this new drama just for Kim Soo Hyun or even for IU. But Gong Hyo Jin has been a force to reckon with for far longer than they have been in the entertainment industry and she’s still as appealing as she was all those years ago. Not to say that she’s old. She’s experienced. And that experience makes for some huge hits in Kdramaland. I swear, everything she acts in is fantastic. You could say that she just chooses fabulous scripts. But I say it’s because she’s extremely talented and versatile, and I don’t think I’ve seen a kdrama where she has bad chemistry with her costar.

And so, here are some of my favorites Gong Hyo Jin dramas (and those I really want to watch)!
