“Zico”

I painted this and a similar painting listening to a recent release of Zico (from Block B)’s music. I just started to paint what I felt as I listened and this is what came out. I find it a bit ironic after the fact (as many things are – gotta love hindsight and how things make sense later). You see, early on in his career, Zico went by the name “Nacseo” which means doodle or scribble in Korean. This to me brings the painting back around and I have a newer depth of understanding it.
