You guyz, I have a confession to make… I’m getting OLD!!!! Argh!

It kills me to say it, but I can look back and see how as I get older my tastes are changing and this sadly affects my drama watching choices. I remember 8 years or so ago when I first started watching dramas, I was all about the high school dramas and young love and not so much about the older peoples or intrigue. Well I’m still not into dramas featuring a completely older cast, but I prefer dramas now that I can relate to. In other words, I’ve grown up with my favorite casts and I still prefer to watch them on the regular.

However, knowing that high school dramas were key to my drama development and knowing that a good many of you guyz are still in high school or university I thought that I would try to rewind my brain and check out the first episode of High School Love On.

I seriously loved it. If I had to give it a genre, I’d say bubble gum – grim reaper. Because boy was it stinking cute, baby faces, pastel colors and shininess. It also centers on a girl who with the help of her handy dandy book of life helps to guide those who are dying into the next world. The plot is totally fictional and actually deals with some of the issues that high school students in Korea have which I think is fantastic. It also has the makings right from the first episode of a really sweet love story that is so powerful it literally creates life (without the sex.. an angel is brought back to human form). It’s seriously a totally watchable drama and if I was a few years younger I’d be all over it! So if you’re younger or if being a pedo-nuna/oppa doesn’t bother you than I highly recommend this drama!
