“An Evening in Color”

This painting was actually fairly simple and straightforward. I was trying to paint a landscape, trying to make it as colorful as I could. In the process I played a bit with various techniques of layering and blending color, light and reflection. And the title describes the scene – it is one of those beautiful rare evenings where everything is aglow with color.
