I had the very fun and unique opportunity to hang out with Richard’s mother and learn how to bake authentic Italian Sicilian bread! Woke up early in the morning and was picked up by my mother in law to drive way out into the countryside of New York State and take this Sicilian stuffed bread class. I had baked bread before, but never anything fancy so I was really excited to go. When the class the finished I had ended up creating Muiolatte and Focaccia, and actually we made a really big stuffed bread too but I don’t know the name of it.
It was a wonderful experience and I owe Sue a big thank. This has become a lasting memory and I think it’s just cool to build these memories with my mother in law. I look forward to finishing my kitchen so I can do more things like this on my own or invite people over!
