This was the last painting I made at 28. And it’s a finger paint. Lol! But this painting is special. I started painting it as a meditation, unaware of where it was going to turn out or what it was going to be. I turned on some ambience music on my radio and just started to paint what I felt. And it started to evolve. Near it’s completion a song that was literally titled “Birthday” by Ken Camden started playing. I didn’t realize what had transpired until I finished, looked to see what was playing, saw that it was that song – that the song had just finished, and that it had just crossed midnight. The painting was completed and with its completion I had turned 29. A very surreal and amazing moment in time.
