This simple painting is actually really meaningful to me!

For those who don’t know me well personally, I love herb gardening. Even as a young girl I would pick various herbs and edible flowers and mash them up with a rock to make various concoctions. (Thankfully, I never ate those!) It’s an innate connection to something that is grounding that I resonate with on a higher level. I have an herbal tattoo sleeve, but I’ve never really attempted painting them in the past. I thought Chives would be a fun selection as they are relatively simple, but have beautiful flowers. We always had a patch of them in our garden when I was a kid. A very picky eater, I would never eat onion in anything and would always pick it out. But, I would often walk over to the chive patch and pluck a strand to chew on as I played in the yard.
