“Embrace”

This painting is a physical representation of my idea of what the embrace of love is like.  It’s colorful, it washes over you like a wave and it’s all encompassing.  Sometimes it’s a bit messy and doesn’t make sense and certainly there are many layers and levels of depth – some pleasing and others somewhat unattractive.  Heck, there are even cracks and flaws – though it remains unshattered. There are also some very lovely moments some easily visible, and others to be discovered.

Yet in the midst, two figures emerge and are intrinsically connected, each helping to make sense of the other.
