“Glory to the Alliance” (Commission)

I don’t often paint “fandom” paintings, as I feel like there’s already so much art out there and I get intimidated by it all. But when I saw this request, I thought it would be a fun challenge. You see, the World of Warcraft Symbols for Horde (which I play) and Alliance are relatively simple, but I can’t just do/be simple. So, I attempted to create a rougher “maybe this would be on a wooden sign or aged, battle worn shield” looking painting. I got to experiment with some fun techniques that I had never worked with before and I am thrilled with the final result.
