All sorts of fun things happened today! I could not have predicted in a million years a day like this if I had been asked about it at the beginning of the day, but it happened.

Full day planned of tasks that needed to be completed started by dropping Steph off, and then driving around to different places including the immigration office, our P.O. Box, getting my van inspected and then going briefly to the bank. Along the way somewhere I received news that was difficult to swallow, and my reaction was real and raw.

I did make the best of it though, and funny enough so did the universe. In the end, I’m thankful for days like today because they make the easier days that much sweeter.
