“Panda Crossroads”

While working on this painting I was trying to work out a lot of things in my mind. I was at a crossroads if you will. After 6 years of having lived in Asia it’s become such a part of who I am it’s hard to believe sometimes that I’m not just on a vacation. Especially since we would often take off for a month or two thanks to the flexibility of the university schedules. But then again, each and everyday I stand at the precipice with multiple choices and directions as to where to go and how to get there – by air, by sea, by car, foot, bicycle, etc.. Just to put the idea into some sort of symbolism. So where do I go from here and how do I make that decision? Sometimes you can only just choose a path and pursue it with conviction.
