“Que Sera”

This colorful piece was created one night when having a painting party with a friend.  We were actually just fooling around on paper as I was out of canvas and I came up with this fun creation.  My inspiration was thinking back to one of my first paintings that I was proud of.  I was in university and I painted on a piece of paper while listening to Dido and Santana’s “Feels Like Fire” on repeat.  A couple of hours later I had a sunset scene.

Basically the same thing happened here, except I was singing the song in my head and I was painting with another person who’s extremely talented in art but had never worked with acrylics before.  She however challenged me to get out of my muted tones and use a lot of bright colors.  It still ended up rather muted, but colorful!
