“Rage Against the Machine”

This painting was initially titled just simply Rage. I was angry and I wanted to paint something that reflected this attitude. And the Machine – well that’s our current society and the establishment. Perhaps this being an election year and all, I can’t help but be completely disgusted by American politics.. and angry that some things take far too long to pass. Mostly, I get really frustrated by racially and gender insensitive driven policies and laws… Though the insurance and healthcare policies also frustrate the heck out of me.. I thought modern medicine was to help people live better and longer.. if only that was true. And no – this is not about the band… though they do have their good points and songs!
