I wanted to do a good painting of Minho that really captured his colorful personality. And so I turned to a more Fauvist style to showcase his handsome good looks. And I am so in love with this painting and how it turned out. It does reflect a bit of the style of my Maki (happiness) painting with the close up on the eyes and nose. But it also shows how much my abilities have grown over time. I could go on and on.. this painting is my obsession lol!
