“The Meadow”

This was painted with a combination of self-reflection and thinking about my nieces (of which I have 2, soon to be 3!) I feel like I was raised with a fairytale mindset that the world is a beautiful place. And yet, as time went on, the beauty couldn’t hide the cracks in the facade. The world is a real place, and fantasize as much as one wants, not everything is going to be perfectly beautiful or flawless. And yet, I almost like it better that way.
