“Till There Was You” – August 2015

I wanted to try something a bit different and softer with this piece. To me it’s reminiscent of a storybook garden with a lily pad lake and a cherry blossom weeping willow tree. There is also a rowboat with two people in it.. perhaps on a date. This painting is a bit of a blend of some of my travels and experiences with the hubby.. including him actually rowing me around some beautiful little lakes in New York state. Simply put, I’m happy to have him. He loves me flaws, craziness and all. Contrary to vlog opinion, he takes care of me. And honestly, he’s helped to make some of my greatest dreams come true and has given life a deeper meaning.
