Top 20 BEST Korean Dramas of 2018

Recently I’ve been trying to get back to the basics of what I love about Korean Dramas and Korean Entertainment. With the amount of new dramas that are always coming out, it can all be a bit overwhelming because how do you possibly choose what to watch? Seriously though.

So, I decided to make a list of what I think are going to be my ideal dramas to watch this year. In somewhat of a delayed new years resolution, these are my top picks (goals) for my own personal viewing pleasure. I’ve separated it into several different categories: romance, action, mature, etc. in order to be able to choose the right dramas for the right mood that I’m in.

I have to say, out of all the categories, the one that piques my curiosity the most is remakes. I love seeing how everyone takes a similar concept and makes it their own. Rich Man for example I think is going to be interesting. It’s going up against a tough competitor. Rich Man, Poor Woman had one of my favorite Jdrama actors – Oguri Shun, and to see it done with EXO’s Suho will be something else! But perhaps the one I’m most curious out of all to see is Romantic Comedy King starring Song Ji Hyo. A remake of the Absolute Boyfriend storyline, it was first made into a live action drama in Japan (which was great), then into a Taiwanese drama (awful – but I reviewed it for my first YouTube video EVER) and now Korea.. Will it be good? Will it be the best version ever? Will it fall flat? Regardless, I think it can’t be the worst..
