I can’t believe that June is less than 2 weeks away! With this marks almost 4 months of being in the USA and the fact I’m going to turn another year older. But more importantly to you guys and really for HallyuBack too, is that there are some really cool new Kdramas to keep us busy while the weather heats up!

The thing I’m most excited for in Kdramaland is the resurgence of some of my favorite hot young actors on the small screen: Kim Bum, Seo In Guk and of course SUNG JOON!! You all know (or should know) by now that I’m a huge Sung Joon fan, there’s something about his acting style, his deep voice and frankly his looks don’t hurt either! This summer also includes some of my favorite actresses – Uee, Jang Na Ra, and Ha Ji Won that all around will be making this one an unforgettable summer!

I’m particularly stoked to check out The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days because no one remakes Taiwanese dramas quite like Korea with their high budgets, phenomenal actors, and great cinematography. I’ve also been dying to see Ha Ji Won in another drama since I saw her in Empress Ki. I think a shorter 20 episode romance drama is going to fit the bill perfectly!

I also cannot wait to see True Romance. The title is actually a bit of a turn off due to it being so reminiscent of a paperback romance novel. BUT, I love the premise as much as I joke about it. And though it’s completely different from my prose, I dreamed of a supermarket love story drama all the way back in 2013!

So yeah, I’m excited.. How about you guys?
