Acrylic on Canvas – Summer 2014

We were staying at a cabin in the woods next to a lake in the Adirondacks this summer with my in-laws who had just gotten back from Alaska (I spent a lot of time with my in-laws).  They were so happy with their trip I got to hear about every aspect multiple times from both perspectives.  Not that I minded all that much, I love hearing a good story and it reminded me of those I had heard growing up because I had an aunt who lived in Anchorage (I still have relatives there).

Combine that with finally watching FROZEN on the plane ride over the Pacific Ocean after hearing kids and everyone singing “Let It Go” and talking about how great the movie was for months and months.  Whelp, I got on the bandwagon.  Here’s my frozen lake.. a great excuse for having fun with brightly colored paint!

This artwork is a one of a kind piece hand painted by Stephanie Ishler of Hallyu Back.  All artwork is for sale unless otherwise specified.  If you are interested in purchasing this original painting, contact us here

I live in Alaska near Anchorage. Your rendition of the Alaskan Autoras look spot on to me. Love it!
