My Lovely Girl is the newest ‘it’ drama to grace the Korean drama scene. It’s also the return of Rain to the Kdrama world after 4 years of absence.

I have to say, that one of my favorite aspects of this drama so far is just getting to see Rain interact on the screen and talk in his smoky voice. Though that’s not ALL this drama has going for it. It’s just one of MY favorite parts.

It just started airing last week and it’s following ‘It’s Okay That’s Love’. So, it has some pretty big shoes to fill.

That being said there’s a lot of little things that make this drama even more fun.

One other thing I like about this drama that is making it unique is Krystal’s character. So far, her character is a very independent woman. You don’t see that as much in Korean dramas and I really like the strong character that she is playing.

This drama also has L who, of course, so far is the antagonist. But he’s super cute and as he’s kind of the bad boy I look forward to his future involvement in the story plot

I went over (pretty much fully) the first two episodes of this drama in the video. If you’re looking for a recent romantic comedy with some musical elements that stars a great actor with fantastic good looks and a deep smexy voice, look no further than My lovely Girl aka Too Lovely a girl too Handle.

Happy Drama Watching everyone! ☺

School is working on your brain…YAY EDUCATION!!! but not so much for drama memory. RICHARD KNEW THE ANSWERS!!! I had to pause the video I was laughing so hard. When you said Richard was watching…I golf clapped (Movie reference Men At Work with Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez…off track) DRAMA GODS WHAT ARE YOU DOING…NOT ONLY DO YOU TAKE MY WOMAN…NOW YOU WANT MY DOG?!?!?!? WAAAAAAAAAE!!!!!!!!

I’m HOPING that Krystal’s presence will be a positive influence on Dal Bong’s cancer. I think L is going to end up being the ‘Bad Boy’ around others but the ‘Good Guy’ behind the scenes.

I’m liking the slow creeping romance…after the sudden rush of instant couples happening in dramas lately…it kinda makes me long for the episode 12 first kiss. Of course I say this now and by episode 5 i’ll be screaming…KISS HER ALREADY!

    You keep posting…I’ll keep watching!!

Hahahahahaaa I did know the answers! Between school and meds she’s been taking cuz she’s been sick for at least 3 weeks now, it’s taking its toll. I feel bad for her actually because she’s still plugging along and I can tell she’s under the weather. BUT! She is getting better, almost cured.

As for episode 2 of this drama, I like how cool Rain plays his character. I liked everything about ep. 2 except that last part when he meets her at the bus stop and she misses the bus. Total cheese if you ask me. I was glued all the way up, and then that whole exchange in the last 2 min. somehow ruined it for me. But that’s me. I’m not much for dramas. I do dig rain’s suave stillness tho.. LOL

I remember Men at Work! Only saw it once but knew what you were talkin bout! haha

      Thanks for being awesome! ^^

I’m with you on the cheese factor. BUT…yay for sticking it out! :)

Yes, that’s the dog! I love him! I was really upset when they revealed he had a tumor. :(

I really enjoyed the first two episodes of My Lovely Girl. I found another one that I really like so far too – The Spring Day of My Life with Sooyoung, Lee Jun hyuk and Kam Woo Sung. This one also has only had 2 episodes so far. I think it will be really good.
