After seeing Steph and saying goodbye, David and I headed across Korea by car to the northeast portion of the country. We woke up by the beach, grabbed a quick lunch, and drove to Soraksan, the most famous national park in all of South Korea. We hiked all the way to the top for some gorgeous views, and couldn’t believe what happened next. This country is amazing. We topped the night off with some delicious Daeji Kalbi Korean BBQ ^^

Great video. I almost felt like I was there with you, and breathing really hard at the top of that mountain. Did you take a long rest before you recorded from up there, or did you two really make it without being breathless? What beautiful scenes. The mountains are gorgeous, as is the view from the mountain.

I hit record right as we arrived at the top, and the voices you hear in the background were three Belgium travelers already up there. I’ve climbed that mountain twice in the past (both times in 2009, once with my mother and once with Steph) and both times before you weren’t able to climb that high so it was my first time seeing over the mountain to the ocean. I’m really happy you enjoyed it Karen :)

A very self reflective moment at the top of the mountain. THAT VIEW!!! McDonald’s Drive Thru VIP…
Basically…it is a promotional thing. You go through the drive thru and you get your drink/meal upsized for free. The promotion is running April 1, 2014 – October 31, 2014
*whispering* Hey, Richard…while everyone is out…*shouting* YOU GET TO PLAY WITH MAKI!!!
    You keep posting…I’ll keep watching!!!

Huh, so they have the SAME promotion here in Korea and in the US for McDonalds.. and at the same time too… never would have thought. By the way, Maki loves us both, but loves Steph WAY more… so I always take advantage of Maki and I alone time LOL :)
