I’m always excited at the prospect of making a video a Taiwanese drama related video. Don’t get me wrong, I like Korean dramas and creating Korean drama review vlogs as much as any of the videos my husband and I produce, but because the Korean drama videos tend to be a bit more popular than Japanese and Taiwanese dramas, at the moment we tend to make more of them.

It’s like this, the drama Lucky Touch with Calvin Chen should be pretty good. Unfortunately, the most recent dramas he’s made haven’t been to the caliber that I feel they should be. At the same time, Taiwan has really been trying to turn all that around. It appears they are making a comeback with some better dramas.

Personally I’m in a pretty big toss up regarding which one of these I’d like to see first. There are several that look to be pretty evenly matched for my tastes. Unfortunately, I don’t know a lot about these new dramas even though I’ve read about them a bit on MDL, etc. There’s just not a lot of information available still out there and a lot of it is written in Mandarin. Considering my Mandarin is non existent those websites aren’t particularly helpful.

The Taiwanese drama I’m actually really looking forward to seeing has a working titled called ‘Upper Class Common Girl’ and comes out later on in the year. It stars Mike He and Ady An and it’s about her being sent to an upper class school by her father only to meet Mike He’s character by chance, yada yada.. The storyline doesn’t seem to out of the ordinary, but the actor and actresses are super stars so naturally it’s gonna be a hit, right? This girl sure hopes so!
