I allowed myself to go a bit darker with this piece.  While it may be clear to some who watch our daily vlogs, I really struggle sometimes with trying to stay bright and not give in to feelings of depression.  I’m always optimistic but sadness is a truly a very real feeling that I experience on almost a daily basis.  Picasso is quoted as saying “Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.”  Well this painting is my sadness crying out… asking why, knowing that I innately know the answer and while it’s not necessarily the one that I want – I am here doing what I am doing because of everything both good and bad.
